Playing the piano is a privilege.

Pursuing music is dedication.

Being a piano teacher is communicating care and

offering friendship in the journey that leads to the self-discovery of

unique translation of the musical language.

Music is abstract, beautiful, and powerful.

Learning to express it via musical instruments is perseverance, resilience, embrace, and attainment.

This is an enrichment of life that is organic, natural, and special,

as well as appreciating every effort in the process.

I am looking forward to working with students and families who recognize

the value of music as in education, humanity, and artistry.

My design is to teach music as a language through the piano

in the most natural, simple, and caring way I can.

I am interested in working with positive and supportive families and students who want to tap into their creative and intellectual sides in various angles and aspects through music making.

"Kay has been a wonderful piano teacher for our beginner student! She is warm, encouraging, and most importantly, patient.

Kay has introduced our daughter to a range of music styles and given her a good foundation in music theory.

She communicates well with me as the parent, and I feel comfortable asking her any questions I have. It's been a pleasure to watch my daughter progress during her time taking lessons with Kay."

"My daughter has been taking lessons with Kay for a little over a year. Kay's dedication, enthusiasm, and concern for her progress are apparent in each lesson she teaches.

She strives to develop her students in all aspects of musicianship and to impart in them a love of music.

I appreciate her willingness to listen to any concerns and questions that I have, and to adapt her instructions according to my daughter's strengths, weaknesses, and style of learning in order to make each lesson most effective."
